70 YEARS OF DISAPPEARANCE: A CALL TO HOPE FOR CLIFFORD SHERWOOD

Montreal, October 18 – October 21, 2024, will mark the 70th anniversary of the mysterious disappearance of nine-year-old Clifford Sherwood. While on his way to school that day in 1954, Clifford was never seen again. His mother, Frances Sherwood, dedicated her life to searching for answers about her son’s fate, holding onto hope until her passing in 2009 at the age of 90.

On this occasion, the Missing Children’s Network wishes to make a call to hope for Clifford Sherwood and all missing children. This morning, our team gathered at the site of his disappearance for a moment of reflection. This symbolic event is an opportunity for us to renew our commitment to finding missing children and raising public awareness about this cause, which continues to impact so many families.

The Missing Children’s Network continues to share Clifford’s story along with those of all other missing children, reminding us that every child matters and that hope must always endure.

We encourage the public to keep hope alive and join us in spirit to support families in their quest for answers.
