Dear partners and volunteers,

We hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. The Missing Children’s Network would like to share with you some important information.

We are grateful for your support over the years. With your precious collaboration, the Missing Children’s Network continues its mission to support families in need and educate the public about safety.

Following the Government of Quebec guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, our offices are closed in order to protect our employees, their families and the community. However, this does not mean we have suspended our activities. On the contrary, our team has a full agenda and is working on a number of new initiatives.

Currently working from home, our team is busy connecting with our families and assisting those whose child has gone missing. We are supporting law enforcement in new cases and following-up with sightings from the public.  We encourage the public to follow our social media accounts and share our search notices. We need everyone to be on the look-out when a child disappears!

We are excited to announce that we are developing some new prevention tools that will soon see the day!  Our team is creating a junior version of our SHINE program with adapted activities for a younger clientele.  We are also encouraging parents to keep the conversation going regarding personal safety issues. To that end, we are creating short videos that will be shared on our Youtube channel , as well as  prevention clips for preteens on Tik Tok. As we know, prevention never takes a pause!

In line with the government’s directives, we’ve sadly had to postpone some of our key fundraising events. Therefore, the Tiny Tots Walk for Hope, our 35th Anniversary Le feu sacré Gala and the Annual Dragon Boat Challenge have all been rescheduled to the Fall.  However, we are still accepting donations in support of our critical mission. We thank you again for your involvement and wish you and your loved ones a healthy and healthy continuation,
